IT’S IMPORTANT TO GET YOUR STAFF TO 3X WAGE

The reason I’m so adamant that your staff need to hit 3x wage is that you need to get your business to a level where it is actually financially viable and you have a good balance between the amount of clients you have and your staffing levels.

Financially it works really well………………..

If you get your staff to hit 3x wage as a minimum then your wage percentage will be just right, and we all know that the wage beast is the BIGGEST bill you will ever have in your salon.

DO NOT let this beast eat your profits.

Of all the salons Profit & Loss accounts that I get to see this is where the majority of theirs and your profits are going.

In fact STOP reading right now and go and work out your wage % .

You can do that simply by dividing your wage bill by your salons takings.

Hit 3x wage and your staff will never be bored and de-motivated…………..

You and I both know how hard it is to attract staff and keep them, so why would we take on staff and let them do half a days job.

Believe me, NO ONE wants to work for nothing!

Well you’re wrong they want to work they just don’t want to work for YOU.

I hear so many salon owners say the millennials just don’t want to work.

  • Maybe you are old school.
  • Maybe you believe that they should be grateful.
  • Maybe you think they should make themselves busy.

Whatever you think it doesn’t matter, what matters is WHAT THEY THINK. And as we are not getting any older and the workforce is getting younger, you adapt or die, the world outside your salon has changed, move with it.

So before you employ that next team member and before you criticise your current staff member for being quiet.

Just take a look at what YOU are doing to help them hit 3x wage.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB ROLE YOU CAN HAVE.

Don’t mess this one up.

If you get every staff member busy then the money will come, the staff will stay, and you will make your salon the best you can. A LIFESTYLE SALON.

So, if they are not hitting 3x wage what do YOU do?

  • Are you getting new clients into the salon? Enough of them?
  • Are your staff losing clients?
  • Are they NOT rebooking them?
  • Are the clients unhappy or just not liking the result

Look at this NOW and decide what help you can give to your staff to grow their clientele.
